This is a very easy step that saves me a lot of time, I thought it might be nice to share because I didn’t find out about it until a little while ago.

When someone wants to delete in the forward direction on a windows computer they just hit the delete key on their keyboard, and when they wan to delete backwards, they hit the backspace key. On the Apple keyboards we only have the option of a delete key that deletes in a backwards direction.

Is there anyway to delete in a forward direction? Yes! just hold down your function key and hit the delete key at the same time. It really works! I even used it while writing this post.

Thanks for stopping by, I look forward to an Apple Traing session with you,

Who wouldn’t love a quicker, more efficient way to do things on any apple system? I don’t know! There are many people out there that have spent hours to compile lists of keyboard shorcuts (and since I believe in working smarter & not harder), here are a few good links.

1. First off, an explanation of keyboard Shortcuts.

2. TUAW - The Unofficial Apple Webblog (A Bunch of Shortcuts)

3. For those that want their apple to read something to them (or everything).

4. And a Giant List (Enjoy)!

Hello all,
We will be using this blog to provide Apple (Mac) tips and tricks that we find while doing research to make your training session better. We welcome you to keep checking back from time to time to see what we’ve found, even if you don’t end up taking any training sessions from us.
